Code Comparison

After everyone is confident in setting up Eclipse and compiling "Hello World", maybe we could have a three or four hour code marathon where everyone writes a class or two based on a common idea (clock, countdown timer, tic-tac-toe, towers of hanoi, etc). Then compare the different sources to see what people like and what works well.
