Let's make a ladies league playing club together!



Are you fed up with power plays?

 

Have you felt you are NOT allowed to use your racket skills fully in games simply because of a male dominanted badminton world in London?

Have you noticed you can actually have more fun and have more "decent" games in competitive Women's doubles?

Or, do you like simply to improve your racket skills without the frustration from a sheer power difference?

 

We're looking for serious (but fun) ladies badminton players who want to get together regularly and have a proper training for ladies players.

The knowledge and skills we gain here can be used for both Women's doubles and playing level with men.

 

It’s a brand new ladies club with a resident coach to make it happen together!

Our regular training time at the moment is Mondays 6:30-7:30pm at Sobell Leisure Centre. (Can be negotiated with all members.)


We're currently accepting members to join our trainings with a pay & play fee of £7.50/hour.

6-month club fee (£50) will be collected in advance. Session fee is £3 each time. (£6 for 2hr training day.)

We welcome guests. (Maximum 3 visits. £5/1hr training & £10/2hr training day.)

As soon as we get enough players, we are planning to start getting ready for league matches.

Good racket skills with good understanding of tactics are required. (If you are a member of London STEP UP Badminton, it is "Venus" and up.)

 

Feather shuttlecocks are used in our club.
