Are you currently using AngularJS on a project? If so, can you tell us about it.

We are currently using AngularJs on a public facing web application. We are in our second year into the project. We were actually using Backbone for the first year. Backbone was great for the beginning but we started running into issues with making the application maintainable and testable because of the complexity of the application we are building. As a result, the team didn't feel very motivated to work with Backbone much less writing tests. So, we first started looking a test runner and found Karma, which was called Testacular at the time I found out about it. While learning how to use Testacular, I stumbled upon AngularJs and put together a few tutorials. After introducing AngularJs to the team at the beginning of a major component we are building for the application, the team decided to give AngularJs a try. It turned out to be a great thing for us. Everybody on the team now enjoys writing JavaScript that we can write tests for. The team becomes more productive and enjoy it.

Are you a developer, manager, designer, or ?

I am a developer and an entrepreneur.

What about AngularJS do you find most appealing?

Everything about what a true MVC application is supposed to be.

Traditionally a .NET developer out of Portland, OR, I've recently been involved more with web front-end development using the latest and greatest web technologies such as SASS, Compass, Backbone, AngularJs, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, etc...
