I've been to dozens meetups, this was by far the best. The speakers were awesome, the information was awesome, the food was awesome. These guys set the bar on what meetups should be like.

The people were really good, but the rather long talk was very high level and a bit too much from the Big Corporate angle. It would have been nice to have seen some real technical content.

The meetup has a nice technical focus. If you had started the tutorials and used angular JS a little bit, or read the documentation then the comments and advice given by the speaker made lots of sense. I met other users of Angular JS at the meetup and they gave me good advice and powerful tips/tricks that I can use with Angular JS.

I thought this was a particularly bad meetup, because they didn't feature concrete examples of how AngularJS was used to solve particular problems. Instead it was almost a marketing meeting. Since the documentation is still so immature, people are dependent on meetings like this to learn the features of AngularJS, particularly since it involves a different mindset than for traditional event-driven frameworks.

Too much food (which was delicious and I bought lots home), but you really need beer. Beer and developers go hand-in-hand.

It was great to see how Google tackled the integration of DoubleClick into their infrastructure and how they helped evolve Angular by adoption
