Recently Lake county Florida joined cities throughout Florida and the country who have limited or banned chaining mans best friend, thanks in part to the efforts of activists in these counties

Today there are animals that are live but not living. Animals that are outside but not playing. Animals that know sunlight but not warmth. They are isolated on chains as short as a couple of feet. These innocent animals are forced to endure the elements of extreme weather and a life of solitary confinement. A life sentence with no parole.

Over 200 cities and counties across the country have enacted ordinances banning or prohibiting the chaining of mans best friend, most recently neighboring counties Lake in April of 2012, Seminole county in March of 2011 and Orange county in 2005.
