Discover the truth behind animal agriculture in just three minutes. At this unique event, members of the public are invited to watch a short, powerful film that reveals standard industry practices. In return, they receive a free vegan treat. It’s an effective and engaging way to spark meaningful conversations about animal rights.

No need to bring anything — all materials are provided.
Please avoid wearing animal-derived clothing or vegan slogans (to preserve the element of surprise).

Join us at Animal Rights Florida's 23rd Independence for the Animals Vegan Potluck Picnic, a summertime tradition in central Florida. Everyone is welcome! This is a great opportunity to learn about a vegan diet, get yummy recipes, find out how you can take action for the animals, and meet like-minded people.

WHO: Animal Rights Florida
WHAT: 23rd Independence for the Animals picnic
WHEN: Sunday, June 28th at 2-6 p.m.
WHERE: Shady Park pavilion located at, 721 W New England Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789

COST: The picnic is $5 donation with a VEGAN dish and $15 withOUT a dish per person.

*Please make each dish to feed 5 to 10 people and include a recipe card. Vegan burgers and drinks will be provided

*When bringing companion animals, please consider the heat

Save the Date- The 15th annual Empty the Tanks Orlando protest!
Join activists outside SeaWorld Orlando!

WHEN: Saturday, May 8, 2027 at 10 a.m. to noon.
WHERE: Seaworld Orlando at the main entrance at the SeaWorld sign along Central Florida Parkway.
WHY: Empty The Tanks worldwide is a global event which aims to raise awareness of the truth behind Sea World and other captive marine animal facilities. This is a day for everyone around the world to stand up against marine mammal captivity. The abuse and exploitation of these sentient beings has no place in the 21st century.

*Signs and banners will be provided
*MEETING LOCATION- We will meet at the entrance to Seaworld along Central Florida Parkway
*PARKING: There are a number of grocery stores, restaurants and strip-malls at either the corner of International Drive and Central Florida Parkway or the corner of Central Florida Parkway and Sea Harbor Drive. Do not park at Walgreens.
*Bring plenty of water and an umbrella for shade if you are sensitive to the sun. Protests are rain or shine.
Please leave companion animals at home.
