Although we've sent the group and several individual members instructions about this many times, nearly every day our Meetup e-mail list receives misdirected replies to messages that appear on the list. Please keep the following in mind:
If you want to reply to a message, USE THE CONTACT INFO THAT IS FOUND IN THAT MESSAGE.
That means you need to read the whole thing and send your message to the person who is listed as the contact.
Please do NOT simply hit "Reply" and fire off your response. That will not get your message to the correct person but instead will direct it to all of the list subscribers.
If you do not write to the proper contact person, your response will hang around in limbo until the list moderator can approve or reject your message. If you sent a reply that was intended to be read by one specific person, your message will be rejected and you will be asked to write directly to the contact person.
If you recently replied to a Meetup post but did not follow these directions, please be aware that your messages have been
rejected and you will have to re-send them to the proper contact person. Look back at the message you were responding to. You'll find the contact info there.
Thanks for reading, and for sharing our concern for the animals.
