Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home follows the path of farmers who question themselves, their practice, and the relationship they have with the animals under their care. The film offers a glimpse into the experience of animals on farms, in intensive agricultural operations and slaughterhouses.

As an all-ages film, there is no attempt to shock the viewer. It is a gentle and tasteful introduction to the ethical concerns of veganism. We encourage inviting those who may not be familiar with the implications of their daily food choices.

Following the movie we will have a discussion about what we've just seen, and share our thoughts about spreading compassion for our animal friends.

« Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home » suit le chemin des fermiers qui se questionnent sur leur manière de vivre et leur relation avec les animaux dont ils s'occupent. Le film nous offre un aperçu de l'expérience des animaux dans les fermes, dans l'industrie du bétail, et dans les abattoirs.

Ce film cible tout le monde, peu importe l'âge. Il n'y a pas de scènes choquantes. C'est une introduction douce et équilibrée aux questions éthiques du véganisme. Nous encourageons l'invitation de tous ceux qui ne connaissent pas bien les enjeux de leurs choix alimentaires quotidens.

À la suite du film, nous aurons une discussion sur ce que nous venons de voir et partagerons nos réflexions sur comment répandre la compassion pour nos amis, les animaux.

La version originale en anglais sera projetée avec sous-titrage en français.

If taking the metro, when leaving metro Rosemont cross the intersection of St. Denis and Rosemont from the south side of the intersection. After crossing continue straight at ground level to the left of the bridge (rue Marmier). Do not walk up the bridge (Boul. Rosemont). Cross the intersection of rue Marmier and av.
