Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home follows the path of farmers who question themselves, their practice, and the relationship they have with the animals under their care. The film offers a glimpse into the experience of animals on farms, in intensive agricultural operations and slaughterhouses.
As an all-ages film, there is no attempt to shock the viewer. It is a gentle and tasteful introduction to the ethical concerns of veganism. We encourage inviting those who may not be familiar with the implications of their daily food choices.
Following the movie we will have a discussion about what we've just seen, and share our thoughts about spreading compassion for our animal friends.
