53rd Annual Sakura Matsura Japanese Street Festival

The 53rd annual Sakura Matsura Japanese street festival takes place on April 13th 2013 from 10:30AM to 6:00PM. This festival features many Japanese events, exhibitions and food. It is a great way to learn more about Japan's food and heritage outside the area of anime. But don't be fooled elements of anime are sprinkled throughout this street festival. Tickets for this event are $5 and can be purchased from their site or at the gates. The event is held at 12th street and Pennsylvania Ave within walking distance of Metro Center.
