Just sending out a quick newsletter with a couple of points.
A) Our official September discussion is happening this Sunday at 3pm.
We will be discussing "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey
. We are meeting at the Sweetwaters Caf? at Plymouth Green Crossings (3393 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor). Please make sure you are at the correct location! If anyone feels they might get lost, don't hesitate to send me an email requesting my telephone number as an added security!
B) Our November selection poll is closing this Friday
, and I will be announcing our chosen book. You still have a couple of more days to get your vote in. Right now, "Where Angels Fear to Tread" by EM Forster has a strong lead.
C) Our December selection poll is now open.
Get on our group page and vote in our December poll (and also for our November poll if you have not yet done so). I will announce the winner just before our October discussion of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos's ?Dangerous Liaisons". This time, I have provided fewer choices (at some members' request) for easier voting. Here are the choices:
