The Ann Arbor Science & Skeptics is a group consisting of members who have an enthusiasm for science, critical thinking, and humor. We meet once a month to discuss various scientific or skeptical-themed topics.
We often have a guest expert on-hand to answer our questions and provide explanations on a particular topic. Some of our past guests include Henry Pollack (climate change), Brian Wecht (particle physics & the Large Hadron Collider), Shobita Parthasarathy (Genetic Patents & Home DNA Kits), David Gerdes (dark energy), and Nilton Renno (exploring Mars).
Our official website is http://annarborscienc... and you can find us on Facebook and Twitter.
