I have written in Perl, Python, PHP, C++, plus extensive bash, HTML and CSS/3 experience along with site building from scratch in Drupal
I would love to expand my C and Perl knowledge, and I *reallly* want to learn Haskell, but am afraid that I might have to learn Java, js, and more PHP, which kind of sucks because I don't like them as much since they lack the formality I find easiest to work with
Well, if you mean by being able to choose my clients from a selection and also get funding for my own inspirations, yes. And do you mean do I want to work in a team environment, yes. My team would have concurrent workstations in an outward facing rectangle, but a ton of desk space for books and notes and scribbles. We'd utilize chat client, google hangouts for pref, but definitely no skype! Skype now is just a skin over like the fifth or sixth totally different backend, and I hateses it. BUT TO START I would love to find a partner or two who would want to work as equal partners on a project (I have so many ideas littered around) but I'd love to be a partner on someone else's concept if they don't mind lots of questions. I swear, I don't ask questions to criticize, I just get really focused on precisely what the goals are (small, small ones to start, and growing up). Life and all experience are about the journey not the destination ^_^
Majored in pure math and philosophy at UM. I come from an impoverished background, as well as from a family that is nonexistent emotionally. I am slowly building my own family of dear, dear friends from a wide variety of backgrounds.
