Introduction
Hi! I've lived in Cedar Park for the last two years and really enjoy the open-minded nature of the area. While following my heart's passion in life, I've been directed onto a path of spiritual enlightenment which I am now seeking with equal fervent.
What would you like to accomplish from our Meetups?
My main goal is to educate myself in all of the Steiner lectures and books (or as many as possible!) through not only readings on my own outside of the group, but through shared group readings and discussions, as well. The other thing I would like to accomplish is to expose other people in this area to, and develop a deep understanding of, anthroposophy in order to provide a foundation strong enough to sustain the creation and growth of a Waldorf school in Cedar Park. I would also love to spend time with other people who share this passion!
What is your background in Anthroposophy, if any?
I have been led to Anthroposphy only recently while researching the underlying principles of Waldorf education, which is my passion now. The little that I have exposed myself to has really resonated with my soul and left me needing to know more. This is a spiritual journey as much as it is an intellectual one and I am entering it with an open-mind and an eagerness to learn as much as I can.

"I am opening up a Forest Kindergarten this fall (The Butterfly Garden) with the ultimate goal to grow it into a full-fledged, non-profit, K-12 Waldorf school in Cedar Park. I have outlined the details of all of this on my website (listed above). "

I just joined this group, and I see you are looking to bring a Waldorf center to Cedar Park - I think that's great and am interested to hear more. I would like to get my daughter into some sort of Waldorf education program when she gets bigger.... so how is it coming?

Thats right during Jason's nap but if it works out we might swing by. No worries, I can google the address for the park. I'll send you a text to let you know whether or not to keep an eye for us around 10am-ish. :)

I know, the flu runneth and the flu poureth over, dude! >.< Jason's acting miserable, we kept him at my in laws for two days but this ain't looking good... :( Upside: I lost 4 lbs in two days (did I tell you that already? if I did, sorry, but I'm el stoked-o about it) Looking forward to seeing y'all tomorrow night.
