Our ARTICLES OF FREEDOM Meetup extends a WELCOME to any and all earnest, sincere Americans who want to take this Stand:

TO RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

We will join with other Articles of Freedom Meetup Groups all across America to learn about our federal and state Constitutions, to learn about the constitutional violations which have hurt our Nation, and learn the constitutional solutions which are contained in the Articles of Freedom and show the way back to constitutional governance.

We will begin to build the foundation which will soon institutionalize citizen vigilance in every state and at the federal level to hold our elected officials accountable to our Constitution, by building a nationwide network of inter-connected neighborhood groups capable of:

1) Scrutinizing the actions and decisions of our elected officials according to our federal and state Constitutions;

2) Bringing the contents of the Articles of Freedom to the attention of America’s entire body politic;

3) Putting before the media, our fellow citizens and our communities a constant stream of information, education and action to lift the consciousness of our society back to the Constitution;

4) Stopping the constitutional violations which have undermined our Nation’s security and prosperity;

5) Monitoring the federal and state governments’ compliance with the Remedial Instructions;

6) Organizing the peaceful, lawful mass-movement needed to prevail, to take America back – a nationwide, We The People Congress.

BEYOND TEA PARTIES, BEYOND ELECTIONS, BEYOND POLITICS

The profound plan to restore our Constitution is rooted in a constitutional document called the Articles of Freedom, the works of the Continental Congress 2009.

What we hope for is a critical mass, a mass movement of Bands of Brothers and Sisters, American citizens all, totaling 3-5% of the national population (between 9 and 15 million people), coming together to successfully bring about a drastic change in government through compliance with the Articles of Freedom. This coming together can be accomplished through these Articles of Freedom Meetup Groups.

If the Instructions in the Articles of Freedom are followed and we return to obedience to the Constitution, as demanded by the People, the result be NO MORE unconstitutional acts by their Government: NO MORE undeclared wars, NO MORE bailouts (corporate welfare), NO MORE fiat currency, NO MORE unconstitutional debt (THE END OF THE DEBT), NO MORE un-enumerated programs and activities, NO MORE direct taxes on labor, NO MORE unenforced immigration laws, NO MORE machine-counted votes, NO MORE loss of privacy, and NO MORE meddling in the internal affairs of foreign countries.

The Articles of Freedom are the works of the Continental Congress 2009, a group of one hundred sixteen citizen-delegates from forty-eight states, who gathered from November 11-21, 2009, in St. Charles, Illinois, to discuss fourteen violations of the Constitution which have devastated our economy and plunged our Nation into turmoil, uncertainty and crisis. For eleven days, the Delegates discussed and learned about their Constitution, the effects of the constitutional violations, then deliberated, debated and voted on a course of action to address each violation and restore constitutional governance. They authored the Articles of Freedom, with its Remedial Instructions to our federal and state governments and its call for standby Civic Action

On April 19, 2010, at the same moment in time, in every state capital, freedom-loving people gathered to honor the Constitution and to serve the Articles of Freedom on both state and federal elected officials. This was accomplished!

And now we, together, begin the Next Appropriate Step on the Pathway to Liberty.
