Building your first Spark Streaming Application - a walked through example

Hi Everyone,

Our first event - building your first Spark Streaming Application- for those who are about to use Spark Streaming or are wishing to try it out.

By the end of the evening it is hoped you will have the knowledge, code and network to help you build your first prototype or application.

We will be using Apache Kafka as a streaming source, and process and output to db using Spark Streaming.
