Thursday Evening Hike @ Valley Forge (3C6)

Our return to Valley Forge National Park from mid-Spring to Mid-Summer. Fast Pace. Meet at 6:30 p.m. at Washington's Headquarters parking lot near restrooms. Weather and daylight permitting we'll hike the trails and climb the hills. Optional refreshment stop afterwards. Thunder and lightning cancels. Well behaved, people friendly dogs on a leash allowed.

While this hike is scheduled for 6.30 pm every Thursday, it would be very helpful if everyone can get there by 6.15 pm. That way we can start signing everyone up. We generally have very large attendance during our 14 weeks at Valley Forge. We will try to break up the group between a faster group and the regular group either at the start or during the hike or on the way back so that faster hikers can do a bit more.

This hike is about 6 miles long with rolling hills and couple of climbs. you will need sturdy shoes and water. Please click the link below for directions to Washington's HQ parking area at Valley Forge.
