Spring Fairmount Park Hike (3AB9)

Please join us for the Spring Fairmount Park Hike to enjoy the spring view including the cherry blossoms of the Schuylkill River from both sides. There are several twists this year. Meet 1:00 PM in front of the Mexican Restaurant, Johnny Mananas, in East Falls where we will have an optional post-hike early dinner. We start hiking the West side by crossing the Falls Bridge. We stop by at the Horticulture Center, and pass the Japanese Garden, the Please touch museum etc. Then, we hike the Boxer’s Trail, look at some historical houses from outside, and enjoy a view from the Strawberry Mansion Bridge before heading back to the East Fall. Bring water, snack, and the money for the meal.

The location is accessible by Septa train or the buses, and there are a paid and the free parking places nearby. Please take ample of time to arrive here. No dogs allowed and substantial rain cancels the hike.
