BASIC MAP AND COMPASS WORKSHOP

This workshop teaches how to use the compass in interaction with a map. If you are hiking on marked trails or bushwhacking to areas not far from trails, a good topographic map may be the only tool you need to plan and maintain your route. If you are planning to be in the wilderness for an extended period of time, you will most likely be using a compass to help you find your way.
