I'm pretty comfortable in the backcountry, as long as I'm on a trail and have a map. I don't have any map & compass abilities. I usually aim for 12-18 mile days, depending on terrain. I'm not fast, but don't mind catching up to a group at the snack breaks.
A month on the AT last summer, about 400 miles between NY and NH.
John Muir trail, Hadrian's Wall, PCT or CDT would be cool if I could ever find the time, the Long Path, the Long Trail, lots of other places I've never heard of before, and, of course, a thru-hike on the AT.
I was a girl scout for one year when I was seven, but I didn't like it and begged my mother to let me quit, which she did.
I'm psyched to find this group--I've been section hiking the AT for the last two years.
