Fox Valley Yakkers

For kayakers in and around the Fox Valley area .

If you are looking to get out and meet others that share your passion for kayaking (and canoeing), join Fox Valley Yakkers. Together we can explore the Fox Valley area waterways. Everyone is welcome to join, no matter how much experiece you have. So if you have a kayak sitting around, grab it, load it and lets start having fun. If you have any questions or concerns, call or email the leadership team. We are happy to meet new people that share our passion. Our goal is to bring other kayakers together. Without having to travel too far, we have plenty of places to paddle. All meetup ideas are considered and voted on by our members.

**Paddles will be assigned a "level" or "rating" so members can better gauge if they want to participate or not. The labels are estimates as to how the paddles will go. The following labels will be used**

Beginner = paddles under 5 miles, no obstacles anticpated, current favorable

Intermediate = paddles 5-10 miles, possible obstacles or stronger currents

Advanced = paddles 10+ miles, &/or challenging currents or conditions(weather,water temps,ets.)
