Paddle Across the Bay - Plum Island

Since Plum Island is officially open to visitors this summer, let's launch from Northport Pier at the end of Hwy 42 and paddle to the Plum Island Lighthouse and Lifesaving Station, which are being reconditioned. Depending on paddlers' preferences, we could continue to Washington Island for lunch at Detroit Harbor. This trip is for experienced coastal sea kayakers with at least ACA level 2 skills and appropriate gear and safety equipment. In the event of inclement conditions, we will try to schedule an alternate location in Door County.
