Seekers of Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding

This study/discussion group is focused on the topic of Applied Metaphysics. The objective is for group members to share their research and experience of practical methods for realizing our mental, physical and spiritual potential. We will be examining works on the subject of metaphysics recommended by members of the group. The future meet-ups listed are just to give potential members an idea of the kind of material we will be examining. Meet-up topics may change based on the direction the groups conversations take.

Statement of purpose
meta·phys·ics:a division of philosophy that is concerned with the fundamental nature of reality and being and that includes ontology, cosmology, and often epistemology.
Ontology > what is the nature of being?
Cosmology > what is the nature of the physical world?
Epistemology > what can be known, how can we know it?
The purpose of the applied metaphysics study group (AMSG) is to research, share, and discuss practical answers to these questions? In doing this it would be beneficial to the group that we hold each other accountable for demonstrating the following attributes.
1. Respect
2. Consideration
3. Responsibility
4. Acceptance
5. Honesty

PLEASE TRY YOUR BEST TO READ THE BOOK THAT HAS BEEN SELECTED for a particular meet up if you plan on attending. I would like for us to have a mutual exchange of ideas based on the reading material as opposed to sharing our thoughts and opinions on metaphysics in general. I think the Meetups will be more fruitful for all in attendance if everyone has read the selected book. Dont be afraid to show up if you have not read, yet keep in mind it is greatly appreciated if you actually read the material.
