Meetup #2 - Featuring Chris Ball, maker of homemade electronic instruments

We're delighted to announce that Manchester Arduino Meetup #2 will feature a talk from Chris Ball, a maker of homemade electronic instruments. Chris will be taking us through some of his projects and hopefully be bringing a couple down for us to have a play/look at.

He was recently at the Manchester Mini Maker Faire in July, where he was showcasing his work, namely a few MIDI input devices. You can find out more about Chris, including his pretty amazing laser harp, at his website http://chrisballprojects.wordpress.com .

We're also going to trial a new format, as suggested by many people at the last meetup, including a roundup of the latest Arduino news and cool projects we've seen since the last meetup. If you have any links send them through and we'll include them :)

A round of free drinks (beer or a soft drink) is also available at Common after the meetup, for those who wish to carry on into the night!
