The First AZORA Meetup of 2014!

Details
First of all, thank you for being part of Arizona Oracle User Group (AZORA)! We’re trying to make AZORA a vibrant user community once again.
We really appreciate your patience as we get the group up and running, and we'll do everything we can to meet your expectations, by providing you with great information and best practices along with the opportunity to network at every meeting.
For our first meeting, we’ve lined up some great presenters who have graciously volunteered their time:
Speaker: Rick Greenwald - Topic: Selecting a database in the Cloud
About the Speaker: Rick Greenwald, research director at Gartner Group, will discuss the different varieties of database implementations in the Cloud, as well as discuss the costs and benefits of each approach.
Speaker: Dan Marshall - Topic: Big Data and Relational Databases
About the Speaker: Dan Marshall has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry and has been in the trenches for several major shifts - Big Data being the latest. He currently works at Well Fargo in Chandler, AZ as a Big Data Applications Engineer. Prior to that he worked at IBM for 17 years in several management and technical roles. Dan has an M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
