The Arlington Hearts & Spades Meetup Group

INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOINING SPADES TOGETHER ONLINE

1. To join the Meetup group, go to:
   https://www.meetup.com/Arlington-Hearts-and-Spades/
   where you will find a colorful "Join" button in the upper right.

2. This is an online gathering, using Spades+ (for cardplay) and Zoom (for conversation). It requires an Android or Apple device, on which you must install Spades+ (free). (Note that "Spades Plus" is a completely different app.) Zoom can run on any platform with a microphone. It's best to have Spades+ & Zoom running on different devices, but if you use one, you'll only miss the video part.

3. You'll need to be "friends" with whoever forms a table on Spades+. Please provide your email address or mobile# in advance to the event organizer and they will send back the friend request.

4. You can practice on the Spades+ platform, either against robots or by joining a public game. When it comes time to join one of our tables, you will find it at [MultiPlayer -- Play Casual Game -- The Roundtable] .

5. The Zoom link will be provided shortly before the event begins.

6. Start time is 6 pm, but join anytime. The Zoom organizer will assign you to a table when such is available. You can leave whenever you wish.

Dear card sharps,

This is the fortnightly games night shared between two card groups (Bay State Bridge and Arlington Hearts & Spades), and a longstanding Games Night contingent. It is structured as a potluck.

You should be fully vaccinated + 2 weeks, or recently tested.

We will have tables for bridge, other cards and board games. Grab a friend and join us!

Start time: 5:30 pm. Come and go as you please.

Bring: A dish or beverage, and if you like, your favorite game.

Please join us for another evening of cards. This will be the Mexican restaurant, Ixtapa, in Lexington near the Arlington border. (You should be vaccinated or have passed a recent covid test.)

Official start time is 6, but come later if you need to, and I will be there from 5:30 or 5:45 pm.

We will be outdoors if possible.
