Jazz and African Pop music

Get ready for a new sound that you won't soon forget! The Groove Master, Paa Kow (pronounced Pah-Ko), fuses rhythm and artistry from his home in Ghana with Jazz and African Pop. Fans from all over the world agree that Paa Kow exhibits extraordinary talent and holds "the perfect groove." He is currently touring across the U.S. and will release his second studio album Ask in August of 2014.

Location: Dazzle Jazz Supper Club, 930 Lincoln Street in Denver, usually has a world music night once a month.

August's world music night will feature Paa Kow. You can listen to his music at

If you'd like to attend this event, please know Dazzle Jazz is a listening room so socializing and conversation is welcome either before the music starts or after it's over, rather than during the performance.

Ticket cost is $10.00 but be aware that Dazzle has a policy that requests that you buy a beverage or food with a value of about $8.00 while you are enjoying the music. (The ticket price supports the musician/s and the additional beverage or food supports the food and wait staff/establishment.)

You must buy your tickets in advance online or take a chance that there will be tickets just before the show (not recommended as events such as this may sell out)

Link to purchase tickets:

Note: Tickets purchased online are non-refundable so if you buy and can't show, you will still be paying for the event.

Once you purchase ticket/s, please RSVP here on the Meetup site so I know you'll be there.

I plan to be there about 1/2 hour earlier (either in listening room if they will allow early seating or in the front room with bar if not). Look for some "world-type" symbol or signage or you can ask staff near entrance for the "Around the World" group as I will check in with the host.

I like his sound! I'm dropping my Mom off at the airport that evening, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, but I will try to get a ticket at the door if I make it back into town in time for the show.

Me, too! :) If you think you might be back in time, you could call Dazzle Jazz Supper Club that evening to see if they have any tickets (or you could try to buy a ticket online - that way you can tell if they are sold out or not.) No guarantees on getting a human to answer but does work occasionally. [masked]-5100. Every once in a while, they have no shows for tickets purchased and they release those seats about 10-15 minutes after show starts.
