Art: To Sell or Not To Sell discussion

Details
Lovely group of artists at the January meeting shared their emotions they feel when they are creating their art and debated whether viewers an actually feel the emotion. At the conclusion the discussion started toward the pros and cons of selling your art work.
It is proposed that we dig deeper in February, so join us as these ideas may be discussed:
To sell or not to sell your art?
How do we let go of our art?
Do you value your art? How much?
Do you create certain types of art with the intention to sell "these but not those?"
Will anyone else love your art work as much as you do?
Second half of the evening will be devoted to discussing the "Space Between The Words" group exhibit. Participating artists are encouraged to attend.
We are inspired by the following quote:
“Art need not be intended. It comes inevitably as the tree from the root, the branch from the trunk, the blossom from the twig. None of these forget the present in looking backward or forward. They are occupied wholly with the fulfillment of their own existence.”
