“It’s so easy anybody can do it.” Camera makers have been telling us that for decades, and now online printers are making the same claim for everything from business cards to photo books. While twenty-first century digital technology has made file transfer and printing accessible to almost everyone, a menu of templates is no substitute for good graphic design. A poorly designed book will distract from the quality you put into your photographs and leave a poor impression on the viewer.
Through printed examples and a brief overview of some basic principles of typography and layout design Jim Bremer will help you make your photography books attractive and professional looking.

Jim is driving up from Brattleboro so the $10/head fee is to cover his travel expenses. Please support this event. We promised Jim a minimum reimbursement so if we come up short it will come out of Art in Photography coffers.
