Camera Show in San Rafael: Buy, Sell & Trade

Buy, Sell and Trade camera equipment. The East Bay Camera Collective is sponsoring a camera show in Marin County for the first time in 10 years. There'll be new and used equipment, accessories, collectables, books, etc. sold by dealers and private parties. You can reserve a small table to sell your stuff or if AUE members can get organized can pool their stuff to do the same.

Entry fee is $3.00

Hours: 9:30a to 3:00p

Free parking; Transit hub 5 blocks away

For more info, call Blake at[masked] or email [masked]

To reserve a table email Tim@[masked]

You might think of it as a swap meet where you get there early for the bargains but I think later in the day sellers are more motivated to sell their stuff rather than pack it away. Might be some good deals about.

If there's any interest (5 members min.) in shooting around San Rafael after the show let me know. I think there's at least 2 hrs. of street shooting in downtown San Rafael. Let's say peruse the show until 3:00 and I'll lead a walking tour 'til 5:00 or so. We could also
do a Show & Tell if you have prints or tablet images to show/talk about.

I was overwhelmed by the selection of cameras/lens/accessories. New and used it seemed like the prices were reasonable and possibly lower than mail order. You need to be knowledgeable about what you need or do your homework beforehand.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
