ArtNet (Arlington Artists Network) Message Board › Northwest Cultural Council Need Help ASAP
Arlington Heights, IL
See note from Kathy Umlauf below.
The Northwest Cultural Council will be 25 years old in September and it's about to be Homeless.
Through the years, with the support of many corporations and individuals, the Council has faithfully fulfilled its mission to bring the arts and culture to the northwest corridor.
Three corporations, Northrop Grumman, Kimball Hill Homes, and the Northwest Community Hospital have been generous donors of office and gallery space.
We are deeply grateful to these corporations that have given the Council a home, as we are to all the businesses and individuals that have so freely offered their support to make this a better community for their families, employees and especially their children.
Now as times are changing Northwest Community Hospital needs to re-acquire our current space in Palatine for doctors' offices.
There is an enormous amount of empty space across the area and we are appealing to a corporation or someone who has some open offices to donate a tax deductible space to the council so that we may continue to serve the community, as we have for the last 25 years. Please know that we don't require a huge area to operate successfully. A space to accommodate three desks and a work table would be adequate for our needs.
Programming for the rest of 2013 and all of 2014 is all planned and intact. Please visit our web page at http://www.northwestc... to learn of our accomplishments. Our programs touch all age groups in this community, including your families and your employees.
We'd be incredibly grateful for any long- or short-term space you'd be willing to offer, so please get in touch if you or someone you know has a potential space for us. You can reach me at 847-991-7966 or email@example.com.
