To be honest with you, I personally can't take up that much responsibility on me due my other commitments but If anyone needs any help I would be willing to support!!

Hi Artists and Scientists,

I'm going to schedule the next meetup Tuesday November 3 - does that work for people? Is anyone willing to give a talk? Or should we change the format, either by facilitating more interaction, or centering the discussion around a text?

I need to disclose something - we are only paid up at Meetup through December, so November will be the last month with me as organizer. I've taken the post for 5 months or so, and now think it's time to pass it on. So, we will have a few options:

1. Someone can step up and become Organizer. It is not time-consuming, but you will need to handle the fees associated, and organize regular meetups. If you're feeling inventive, creative, industrious -- we have a large network (nearly 100) of artists and scientists that you can reach out to in some really exciting ways.

2. Switch to a free platform like NING. The positives: it's free, and there are a lot of tools for discussion and social networking. Cons: There wont be regular meetups unless people self-organize or post events. Alternately - a Google group.

3. Just accept this as a short-term experiment in partnering artists and scientists ... and perhaps the limited time we have remaining will be an impetus for a range of interactions and activities to form?

Let me know what you think!
