We believe art is a reflection of life and by engaging in cinematic art we are able to learn more about what specific films are telling us about the human condition.
We are a very diverse group who gets together once a month to watch a film (somewhere in between a Hollywood Blockbuster and Indie Art House), then discuss it afterwards. We look for plot, theme, character development, screenwriting, cinematography, and use these things are starting points for discussion.
If you enjoy watching movies that make you think/feel, this is the group for you. Previous movies have been: The Visitor, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Donnie Darko, The Station Agent, and Chocolat to name a few.
