We believe art is a reflection of life and by engaging in cinematic art we are able to learn more about what specific films are telling us about the human condition.

We are a very diverse group who gets together once a month to watch a film (somewhere in between a Hollywood Blockbuster and Indie Art House), then discuss it afterwards. We look for plot, theme, character development, screenwriting, cinematography, and use these things are starting points for discussion.

If you enjoy watching movies that make you think/feel, this is the group for you. We have watched films as diverse as The Diving Bell and The Butterfly to Donnie Darko, and directors as different as Alfred Hitchcock to Wes Anderson. No genre is untouched or undiscussed. If you hate it when people talk during a movie but won't/can't talk when it's done, then you need to be a part of our group.
