SMartCAMP is This Weekend 3/6-3/7. Updates!

Hi all,

Hope this email finds you well and braced for the art fair week madness that is about to be unleashed on NYC!

SMartCAMP?is only 3 days away and we are all SO excited. We are very close to selling out, so if you haven't purchased tickets yet, please do so here: http://socialmediaartcamp.com/register

(Please remember, that RSVPing on Meetup.com does not guarantee you entry for this event. Tickets must be purchased via the link above.)

Also, a couple of updates:

- After a VERY difficult selection process, we'd like to announce the start-ups featured in the Arts Start-up Showcase. The list includes Artlog, Aviary, Toura, Art.sy, the Audience Engagement Platform, and Transit. For a list of company descriptions, please visit the SMartCAMP schedule page: http://socialmediaartcamp.com/schedule?

- There are still a few slots available for the Social Media Bootcamp track on Sunday. This will be a small group workshop (groups of 5 or less) where participants will get to work through some of their problems and questions with social media professionals. I'm really excited about this offering in particular -- my hope is that participants will walk away with some actionable strategies and next steps that they can use in their day-to-day. We have a very talented team of workshop leaders for this session, including ArtsTech's own Jaki Levy and Damien Basile, as well as Maryann Devine of smArts & Culture and Farra Trompeter of Big Duck.

To register for this session, please visit: http://socialmediaartcamp.com/register

- We're also really excited to be bringing the famed Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School series to SMartCAMP on Saturday night, March 6th. For those of you who don't know, Dr. Sketchy's is an amazing arts event series that marries traditional art school life-drawing classes with sexy burlesque models. For this particular event, we'll be doing a simultaneous multi-city livestream, as well as various other interactive elements.

To register for this session, please visit: http://socialmediaartcamp.com/register

Before I sign off, I'd just like to take a moment to thank the folks at the Roger Smith Hotel for all their incredible efforts in putting together this event, as well as the LAB Gallery and Panman Productions teams, the ArtsTech organizing committee, and of course, all of our amazing speakers. None of this would have been possible without their hard work and time, and I'm looking forward to seeing it all come together this weekend. Hope you'll join us!

Cheers,

Julia
