Counting Your Blessings: Create Your Own Prayer Beads for Peace, Compassion, and Positivity

Why Prayer Beads? Prayer beads provide a focal point for chanting or recitation of prayers, bringing you concentration. on February 21st at 2:00 PM, I will guide you through writing an affirmation of gratitude that will elevate your spirit. Next,
you will write this positive statement within 108 paper beads
that you will roll and craft yourself. Finally, each set of beads will be strung in the style of a traditional Mala.

Class includes journaling, a brief guided visualization, discussion of concentration vs. meditation techniques, as well as insight into the plethora of sacred symbology behind the number 108 in Eastern Traditions.

All supplies will be provided for this 3.5 hour workshop. Total cost per person is $35; bring a friend and save $15! Payment is required to RSVP due to supply purchases and prep that need to be done in advance. Thank you for your understanding!
