Meet up with others interested in the arts in London. We visit galleries, concerts, museums, theatre, (fringe and mainstream) live music gigs and places of historical interest.
Enjoy walks, talks, meals, etc. with interesting company. Discover unusual London venues, and areas that are off the beaten tourist track.
Meet up in smaller groups, for art workshops, book groups, French Circle, tennis, dinner parties, swapping artists trading cards, art journals etc.
Try out new activities/events/restaurants, widen your circle of friends, and enjoy what this great city has to offer. Come along on your own, or with a partner or friend. Suggestions for new events are always welcome.
Most of our events take place in central or South West London, but we also venture further afield to Paris (artists exchange) Barcelona, Brussells, Berlin etc and to a beautiful venue in Turkey (for ten days, twice a year) Many of our members choose to return there - some for a fourth time!
If you are interested in the arts or artistic yourself, we would love to meet you and if you have a skill or activity you would like to teach our members, let us know.
We arrange over thirty events each month. There is a charge for full membership, as ticketed events are booked well in advance, to ensure that members benefit from good seats at the best prices. Members find that they save far more than the membership fee on reduced ticket prices.
You are welcome to come and join in with us free of charge, at any of our free, or pay on the day events.
Meet in the upstairs room of the White Cross, lovely spacious room just for us, overlooking the Thames at Richmond. Drop in to meet and chat with other members. Go on to see a film of choice with others (there are seven screens in Richmond) or stay on for the evening for drinks/food/chat and to find out about up and coming events. Please RSVP and we look forward to seeing you! Read more
Support a Meetup group while getting exposure to active, local members.
