Monthly Meeting

Please note that we are meeting on a Friday this time to accommodate for people who are not available on Monday. This is a monthly opportunity for members to get together, share and exchange ideas, plan new group activities, create good energy, and enjoy the company of like-minded people. Of course, it is also for new / potential members to find out more about us and how they can contribute to the Pay-It-Forward movement.

The Eagle Street Coffee Emporium sells coffee, tea, other beverages and snacks. You may feel inspired to buy drink for the next person in line and put Pay It Forward into action. We do not charge for this meetup but the Coffee Emporium has a $3 minimum spending per person. If you do not have $3 to spend, we will pay it forward and buy you your drink. If you have any suggestion of activities (with a Pay It Forward theme) that we can do during the monthly meeting, please bring it up for discussion during the meeting or send me a message any time.

The Coffee Emporium needs book donation. If you have any books to "pay-it-forward", please bring them with you. We consider everyone as a Pay It Forwarder and non-members are all welcome.

Please note that there is free public parking at Marjorie Street after 5 pm. There are also a few parking decks nearby if you don't mind paying.

Thanks Gloria for setting this up... but I did not like the venue. Parking was difficult and and we had to buy something there... without much organic... would prefer meeting at Katua or somewhere else.

Well, it's not perfect, but it's quiet and more like a home base than cafeteria like Katua or Earth Fare. Unless there are more members who felt the same like you, it's not a good idea to keep changing venue. There is actually free parking at Marjorie Street round the corner. I will see if Teresa can offer some organic beverages.

That would be great if Eagle Street Coffee could offer more organic choices. I suggest asking Teresa first before deciding if we should move or not. Other than that, I liked the location, a lot quieter and less distractions than a busier place.

Hi, everyone. I enjoyed being with you all Friday and hope to be able to attend on a more regular basis. Hope to be there at least for a while at Sharefest, too. I'm fine with keeping the venue where we were Friday, although it doesn't seem like it will be very easy to grow if our numbers go up. Don't know enough about other Asheville venues to offer suggestions, though.

It's so wonderful to meet so many new people who brought to the table a wealth of experience and new ideas. This last meeting was exactly how we envisioned the monthly meetings to be.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
