What is your Asian nationality? And how did you find our group?

I am first generation Chinese American. Found the group on a search for "Asian Singles."

What kind of work do you do?

I am a professional animal trainer in the entertainment industry.

Are you outgoing or shy?

I'm pretty outgoing by necessity. I consider myself friendly, chatty, and open-minded. My career has afforded me a lot of opportunities to travel and I've had some unique experiences. I also love to meet people and see what makes them tick.

What is most fun (sing, dance, sports, vegetate, recreational or outdoor activities) for you?

I'm up for anything. I'm a pretty uncoordinated and clumsy guy, but that never deters me from giving it my all and having a good time. I'm glad you mentioned KTown because that is a current source of extreme fascination for me. I grew up in the Chinese American culture and I lived for 3 years in Japan but I have next to zero exposure to Korean culture and I want to learn more about it. I just started exploring KTown and the first thing I noticed is that unlike Chinatown or Little Tokyo, there is virtually nothing to accommodate tourists. KTown seems to be by Koreans for Koreans. I think that's cool.

What kind of food do you mostly enjoy?

I enjoy food of all kinds, especially asian. I love dim sum, sushi, any noodle(udon, soba, chow mein, ramen, fun, pho, etc), anything asian really. Just learning that there's more to Korean food than bulgogi and kalbi but I have been experimenting with my own kalbi marinades with input from my local Korean grocer.

Hi. Recently returned from a 3 year stint in Osaka, Japan. Looking to get reacquainted with LA and meet some cool people.
