MoCo Idea Swap on Online Community Best Practices

There is a lot of talk around online communities and community management these days. We are excited to have a lively discussion covering important topics such as community manager best practices, increasing member engagement, purpose driven communities, measuring ROI, leveraging partners in your community strategy, and much more.

This swap will be facilitated by Maggie McGary, Director of Marketing & Communications for SFPE, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Maggie is a digital strategist who has spent over a decade (ok, two decades) in the association world, most notably Online Community & Social Media manager for the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) for almost five years. She is passionate about community management and the way social media is changing everything from traditional media to the workplace to the way businesses are structured.
