If you guys are serious about improving your photography skills and/or networking then here is another great opportunity to get your cameras out and practice. This time, we will meet in the Queens Botanical garden. This gathering will be on Sunday May 11 at 11am. The admission to the garden is $4. The address is 43-50 Main Street Flushing, NY 11355. If you are taking public transportation take the 7 train to the last stop and walk down on Main Street.
Bring your camera, lenses, reflectors and diffusers.
We will be divided in small groups and each group will have a leader and a specific assignment. Members in the group will help each other as they take turns shooting. At the end we will get together again to review or pictures, comment about them and ask for any tips on the pictures that we like.
We will be playing with the depth of field, focal length, composition, macro photography, etc.
ALSO, I happen to be teaching a photography class on The Immigrant Movement International. The class is free and it takes place every Saturday at 8:30am on[masked] Roosvelt Ave, Corona Queens. All are welcome. The next class is on May 3rd as this weekend I will be shooting a wedding in Upstate.
Any questions feel free to call, text or email me.
Please RSVP to let me know that you are coming.
