This group is for anyone interested in discovering "What is Montessori?" and how you can create home centres to promote your child's love of learning from age 0-6. Many people want to learn more about the child centred Montessori philosophy and Method and "Why it Montessori successful?" The great news is that anyone can apply many of the Montessori concepts at home to support the whole child. It is good to be aware of the developmental growth of a child from 0-6 emotionally, socially and academically to make sure they have the activities and support during the very important first plane of development.  I started this group because I believe Montessori should be available and understood by everyone for many of the concepts help with being a great parent and having great respect and communication with your child as you help him/her fulfill a natural desire for independence.  The goal is that Montessori benefits become available to the masses and we all become At Home With Montessori. Parents are their child's best first teacher and through discussions, workshops and guest lecturers we can share ideas on how to best support our children.
