At a Loose End

Just taken over as the organiser for this group so go easy on me : )
Plan to keep it simple and same as before but if anyone has ideas for changes, let me know.

If you have ever found yourself at a loose end either during the day or in the evening and wished you had something to do or people you could invite round then I hope you will join this group

It could be that you have been let down last minute or that you thought you didn't want to do anything but suddenly have a change of heart but by that time everyone else you know is busy.

No matter why you find yourself at a loose end, e mail me and I will send a message to the rest of the group as soon as I get it and hopefully you will be able to meet up with one or more people from the group. (Remember I do have a social life too so if your request is VERY last minute I may not get it in time to put it to the other members) Ideally 24 hours notice will be good.

"At a loose end" meetups could be meeting for a coffee, a glass of wine or a beer, going to the cinema or even just meeting up in one of the members houses.

OK so here is the way it works

I would only attend a few of the meetings so here is what to do if you are at a loose end

E mail me directly if you are at a loose end. Tell me what you want to do and I will make you assistant organiser for your loose end meetup. Once the meetup has happened I will take you off as assistant

As the Assistant Organiser it will be your responsibility to make sure that the meetup goes smoothly and that people know how to find you etc. As assistant you will be able to post your new meetup on my meetup page and see who is RSVPing.

Please do not post your new meetup on the message board because not every member subscribes to it or looks at it

If anyone can think of a better way to make this meetup work then let me know
