Ladies' Lunch

Join your fellow atheist ladies out to lunch!

We'll have the opportunity to get to know each other better, and discuss Women in Secularism.

Location will be Pasta Pomodoro, a pasta place that features vegan options.

It's in Santana Row. Parking is either in the lot next to the restaurant or in the parking garage on Winchester (& Olsen). Parking can be tricky at times, so give yourself some time, and/or try to carpool if you can.

We'll have reservations based on the number of "yes" RSVPs. See you there!

Since the RSVP hasn't been closed yet, I'm going to assume that I can still join you all for lunch! Looking forward to meeting you all.

I am just now seeing this event (must have missed the earlier email). I'd love to join, but I saw you've made reservations - is it too late to hop on this time? If so, I'll keep my eyes open for the next one :)

Speaking of parking, there is a fairly nice size free parking log in Santa Row, so don't spend hours driving around:-)

    June 19

    • Kennita

Speaking of Santa Row, is a parking log anything like a Yule log :-) ?

Would love to go but unfortunately other obligations prevail. Hope those who attend have a wonderful time.

I'm hoping this goes to everyone who's RSVP'd Yes...

If anyone is coming by Sunnyvale on their way to the Ladies' Lunch, I'd appreciate a ride. One perk: I have a Disabled placard, which may help with parking.

I'm with the Humanist Community in Silicon Valley, have been for years. We meet at the High School in Palo Alto every Sunday for a speaker and buffet lunch plus monthly potlucks, book clubs, hikes, etc. We had a Ladies Lunch for a while but it petered out . Perhaps we were too small. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to this one.

Super! I remember your name from the first Sunday Assembly Silicon Valley last November, and at one or two since then. It'll be good to see you again. :)

We also will have the chance to compliment each other's tiny hats... or shoes... or earrings or whatever... lol (see comedy sketch below regarding Ladies who Lunch topics of discussion) https://screen.yahoo.com/ladies-lunch-000000065.html

This sounds like a great idea. There are so many gender-related issues in atheist and secular communities and the discussions can get pretty heated. I managed to get into this community just after "elevatorgate" and was almost frightened away. I'm happy that ACSJ is so inclusive. I'm looking forward to this.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
