Suggest-a-Meetup Workshop

Always wanted to host a meetup event, but could use some guidance?

Well, Lyn is here to help you become an ACSJ Event Host!

Together we will discuss meetup event ideas, MSM (Member Suggest Meetup) guidelines (http://sanjoseatheists.org/acsj-member-suggested-meetup-policy/), the process of suggesting an event on Meetup.com, and actually hosting an event for the ACSJ.

Please bring your fully charged netbook/laptop or other device that you can use to access meetup.com. Lyn will use her cell phone as a 4G Mobile HotSpot for the group, but if you have other ways to access the internet, do bring such a device.

The hope is to add some events to the ACSJ calendar this day, and empower you to continue to do so anytime you have a great idea for a meetup event.

After our little workshop, we can take a nice walk around the beautiful park on this warm day and maybe even head over to the library cafe.

Parking is free, and there are 4 different parking lots around the park. The one off of Keily near Homestead is probably the closest to our meetup location. The pavilion is between the toddler playground and the lake. The other back up picnic areas are on the other side of the creek near the big kids playground.
