DOWNTOWN STREETS: Apply-a-thon jobs project for homeless

Seeking 3-4 people (and your laptops) to volunteer for the Downtown Streets Team (http://streetsteam.org/). We will assist individuals who are homeless/ at-risk of homelessness seek out and apply for jobs (12:30-4 PM). We are meeting at their headquarters on The Alameda. There is wifi and they will have paper applications as well and website info that we can use. The Downtown Streets Team is an AMAZING community group that is committed to giving individuals a “hand UP” rather a “handout.” Let’s help their clients find and apply for jobs!
