We'll start with Adrianos Dadis & Patroclos Christou, two talented Software Engineers very experienced across a wide variety of applications and services. They will transfer us their knowledge on state-of-the-art technologies related to Streaming processing using Apache Storm and Apache Kafka.
After our usual free-pizzas break, sponsored by e-food (https://www.e-food.gr/), Despoina Christou, a Machine Learning MSc student, will briefly present her AI educational experience in Edinburgh and provide us with some career opportunities related to Big Data projects in UK.
Then, in the final talk of the day, Nikos Papahristou, the two times Champion on Computer Backgammon, will present his research story on the self-training of game AI agents that can play backgammon games at expert level.
