RESULTS (www.results.org) is a grassroots advocacy organization made up of ordinary people who are not content with a world where 25,000 children die every single day from easily preventable causes, or that millions of children don’t have access to a basic, primary education. RESULTS has been a potent voice of the anti-poverty movement for 30 years. Our network of volunteers have achieved great successes over the years, including: • Securing health coverage for millions of low-income families through major expansions of Medicaid, community health centers, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program • Fostering healthy early childhood development through additional funding for Head Start and child care assistance programs • Saving lives through the creation and implementation of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria • Creating economic opportunity through the expansion of microfinance services to over 100 million of the world’s poorest
