Join us and other Atlanta Area Meet-Up Groups for a weekend in the mountains as we celebrate freedom! We’re just 90 min from Atlanta in the mountains of southeastern Tennessee. What’s so special about Sassafras Ridge is that our land is legendary as a crossroads of the Underground Railroad. Our beautiful 700 acre private mountain getaway is a unique place where guests can hike the trails of our Harriet Tubman Nature Preserve and experience a cultural connection with the history of our people, the perfect setting for a day of remembrance.
Our Juneteenth event is the perfect opportunity for the Atlanta area Meet-Up Groups of similar interests to enjoy a weekend adventure designed specifically for their enjoyment. We hope to bring you together for a fun weekend adventure and to enjoy the celebration of freedom with the goal of creating an experience that you’ll remember when planning future Meet-Up adventures.
