Planning For The Shindig!!
It's only two weeks until the Big Damn Shindig, and we really need all hands on deck at this point!! Many of you guys have offered to help with one thing or another, so here's what we need:
--- Music. Right now, the Shindig is music-free. None of the bands that were friends of friends or other people had contacts with came through, so at this point, we need to put together SOMETHING. As far as I know, Manuel's has no audio equipment, no way to broadcast music via Ipod, and the whole thing is generally on us to figure out. I've never done audio for a party before, and don't have equipment except for the Ipod. PLEASE HELP! I just don't know how to handle this issue. :/
- Ticket sales. We still need AT LEAST 20 people to RSVP/buy tickets to meet our minimum number of attendees. Tell everyone you know; if we don't get at least 60 people, Manuel's might not be so agreeable to having us back.
