Apache Ranger for securing Hadoop
Hadoop has been changing the landscape of data platforms and is now the standard for Data Lake implementations. This brings new challenges in terms of ensuring that data is protected as we are now tackling up to petabytes of data. Apache Ranger was innovated to protect data in Hadoop at the granular level. It’s that single place to define policies on how data are protected in HDFS, Hive, HBase, Solr, and Kafka. Not only that but providing you the capability to protect YARN Queues, Knox Topologies and Storm Topologies.
