A conversation group for speaking Japanese!
The Atlanta Japanese Meetup is focused on creating a fun environment for speaking in Japanese (advanced beginner to native levels). Everyone is welcome at whatever level of Japanese they are capable of speaking. However, we do ask that you respect that people have come to speak Japanese and that you make every effort to maintain conversations in Japanese.
Japanese is a very hard language to learn and one needs all the practice they can get - especially opportunities to speak it - in order to achieve or maintain fluency.
This group is also an opportunity for native speakers of Japanese to share their language and culture with non-Japanese who are actually trying to learn it.
For now, the format will be at restaurants across the metro-Atlanta area, but in the near future karaoke and other Japanese events will be included: if you have an idea please e-mail.
